I recently purchased the DC 1200 with a single strobe and the wide angle lense. I also had the identical strobe from a DC 800 kit so I have added the 2nd strobe with the stock Sealife arms.

Frankly, the double strobe setup seems to have excessive movement/flexibility and limits the width and positioning of the strobes.

So...now the question. Where can I find information on strobe arms that will increase the ability to position the strobes wider and in different angles than the stock Sealife arms and will be reasonably easy for a novice to install?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I just converted the stock SeaLife Arms to arms and trays from Ultra-Light. Google strobe arms, ultralight and they should come right up. The conversion was easy. The worst part was getting the strobes off the SeaLife Arms. I had to get help from the Diveshop and we wound up cutting the metal coupling on the bungee.

I will be doing my first dives for photography since the conversion this upcoming week in Cayman Brac. I'll let you know how they go.

How did the Ultralight strobe arms work out? I am looking to add a second strobe to my DC1200. Any recommendations from your experience would be helpful. Thanks!
