Coloboration with Heriot Watt University UK Malaysia campus in Hosting a group of 30 Psychology students accompanied by 2 academics and a counsellor paid a visit to Diveheart Malaysia to learn more about Adaptive Techniques for the PWD Special Community where it focuses on increasing awareness of varying abilities and explores adaptive teaching techniques to apply when training and diving with physically and mentally challenged divers. The students had the hands-on opportunity to practice the techniques and skills required to assist People With Disabilities (PWD) going in and out of the water.
The University students had a first hand experience in a talk session with our PWD Scuba Divers, Ms Ereen Pasbullah, Visually Impaired, Ms Nor Aishah, Amputee and Ms Nahla Abd Rahman, mild Cebral Palsy.
