Hi submariners,

In a lot of used regulators, I see an adapter screwed into an HP port. It is imprinted Oceanic USA. Can anyone identify it? Thanks!

I believe that’s an HP quick disconnect adapter. It enables an HP instrument, such as a pressure gauge with hose or a dive computer transmitter, to be easily detached from and reconnected to the first stage. It is a two piece adapter. The other piece will be connected to the pressure gauge hose or transmitter (you are missing this part).

Thanks for that help! I see the other part on the big auction website.

Yes, that's the other part. I never used this one from Oceanic so I don't know how well it works. I use one from Scubapro and it works well.
