Hello,
just booked a trip to Yap for April 2006 for hubby and myself thru our agent (Dive Adventures in Sydney Australia).

We're staying at the Manta Bay Hotel/Yap Divers and if you check out their site - they already have listed a number of accom/dive/meal packages available. http://www.mantaray.com/

have a good one!

Inquire of Fish n' Fins in Palau for a package...they work with all the local hotels. They also run two liveaboards...Ocean Hunter I and II.

Any of the West Plaza hotels are okay except the one near the harbor, which is in an industrial area. The others permit walking distance to anywhere in Koror. I personally prefer the West Plaza by the Sea because of the ocean-view rooms and the excellent, reasonably-priced meals available in its own in-house restaurant. The major dive operators will all pick you up there for free, anyway. The Palau Pacific has the only beach, is the nicest place, but you pay for it, and it's well away from town. You might also inquire of the new Palau Royal resort (a Nikko property). Just open, it might offer some opening specials to a non-package tourist like yourself.

Don't miss the Etpison museum, which also operates one of the best restaurants in Palau.
