I bought this Pro 4 off ebay and it's in excellent shape and works great. My ? is regarding the light head. Can anyone tell me whether the Pro 4 is supposed to have a lense cover that protects the bulb? On mine, the bulb sticks just a little bit past the bezel, which would make a lense cover impossible to put on. I have seen on the newer H- cans that there is a lense cover. Is it because this is an older model OR is the bulb the wrong size?

Post a picture....

On the older lightheads the test tube sticks out a bit past the reflector (shroud) that sounds like what you got. The newer reflectors are bigger and will protect the test tube.
Lots of guys use a beer can coozy sp? on the light head to prevent damage while getting ready to splash. Make sure though that the switch is off when you hook up the battery with the coozey on... It might get a little warm on the dive boat when your Lighthead bursts into flames :)

Yeah, got an email from Dave @ Halcyon (thanks much Dave). He said the same thing about the older lighthead. Apparently, they made 2 styles and I have the older style with the test tube type. Great idea re: the can coozy ;) I'm going to give it a try, because I didn't like the tube being exposed while I was donning/doffing my kit on the boat. Thanks a lot :D
