You've got some nice shots there!

That first eel is really sharp!

I like the scorpionfish against the sponges & the blue background, too.

Nice angle on the anemone with the little shrimp.

Looks like you are at the right distance for your light - you haven't blown out those white/silver scales (and that can be tricky) while still getting some great colours! I think WELL DONE and THANKS for sharing, really!

The one thing that does stand out a little to me is try to get just a little lower more often. You've done a great job with this set so now you have a high standard to meet next time :D

Help me out with some pics. What would you like to see differently?

Suggestions and critiques are appreciated!

Looks good. The work is at the point where critiques would be on artistic grounds and I do
like the style so just keep shooting.

OK one technical thing I saw: What ISO are you shooting at? I think I see a bit of noise in the images. I find that My A80 does this noticably at the 400 setting. I almost always shoot at 100 ISO for UW pics.

You might want to try an experimant indoors in low light shoot some images of subjects that have "smooth" even colors at 50, 100, 200 and 400 ISO then lok at 100% size images on a computer monitor and see if you can see the niose.

that said, what I see could be the result of compression artifacts in the reduced resolution posted images.

The other thing about my A80 is that the optics are not as sharp as I'd like. But I'm spoiled. I shoot Nikon SLRs for years and also some medium format

You are showing us that the A80 can do good work. graphic design, composition and color is what matters and all that looks good to my eye.

I'm shooting ISO 50. I think the technical details show up on the image. They show up for me.

Alcina, I'll definately work on getting lower ;)

Thanks for the compliments.
