Floating in space -- unknown to most,
Deep in the trenches, just off the coast.
Perfectly buoyant -- if I wasn't I'd drown,
Free and alone, a king with his crown.
Away from them all – a lone sailor at sea,
An oasis of life, no humans but me.
When I rise to the surface -- gasping for air,
I will reach a new world, the human's lair.
