I just don't log dives
Just wanted to let folks know that I had a wonderful trip to Australia to go diving and to look around recently for three weeks. I dived on the ex-HMAS Brisbane out of Mooloolaba with SunDivers, snorkeled in the Whitsundays, dived on the Yongala with Yongala divers out of Ayre, and did 7 days in the Coral Sea with Mike Ball's Spoilsport. I was impressed with each operation and how they go out of their way to accomodate and help divers. The diving speaks for itself, fabulous is too tame a word to describe it. What I really liked was a chance to get to interact with many of the residents in the areas where I stayed. I will be back within two years, three at the outside.

My wife and I were married in Fiji and honeymooned in Australia. We also enjoyed the same trip on the spoilsport and spent some time exploring the rainforests and other sites around Cairnes. I enjoyed the diving but the overwhelming memory We both shared was how delightfull the Australian people were. We absolutely were captured by their fun loving spirit. Of all the places I have visited Australia is the one where I could be fully happy living. Others are great for a visit but to stay long term... Australia.

A lot of the inhabitants whinge a lot, but yeah, this country isn't too bad to live in.

you certainly picked the best of the east coast though! perhaps next time try the west coast and if you're really keen leafy sea dragons and seals in SA.
