Hadn't posted any shots here for a while. actually haven't had too much time for diving as we've been building a house. but I did get to go out on a friend's boat on Sunday to Lopez Island in the San Juans, north of Seattle.
Long Island is a high current area and has lots of color and life. We also dove a nearby rock off Lopez island that turned out to be pretty good, once we found the sweet spot.
Scaly Sculpin on Strawberry Anemones
Puget Sound King Crab
Laila cockerelli (this was about 5/8" big, and one I'd never seen before)
Dendronotus diversicolor (or albus)
Dendronotus dalli - these were huge!! I think bigger than reported largest 136mm, more like 180mm
Notice the Janolus fuscus in the corner, with eggs in the foreground
