A far dive...

Hello all,


I'm an european diver. I used to dive in the Mediterranean several times a year. Now I'm working on the details of a travel through California at the three major universities (SF, SD, LA) for the next june and would love to make some diving. That's why I'm looking for some help of how to do so. Information about clubs, university biology departments on the area and regular groups, how to find or lodge not expensive equipments,... All real-life information in Californian diving (or other issues) are very welcome, and thanked in advance.

I have been diving Cali a lot lately....
You might put a posting on the California kelp divers forum under dive clubs here on SCUBA board. My last 2 trips out there I have dove with Dive Connections (san Diego) www.gottadive.com I really like these guys so you might want to check them out. I am going to be in San Fran and LA next week, I will let you know if I have any insite from this trip.
