I'm a Fish!
The diving season for some is quickly approaching. Yeah I know for some it never goes away. But this is for everyone anyway.

I’m going to put out a challenge to every diver out there. This will be a competition of sorts even though I don’t think the words “Competition & Diving” should be used together. But there are some small exceptions.

I want everyone to think very hard about EVERY aspect of their diving. Your Training, Ability, Confidence, Gear, Boating Safety, Attitude and so on. It could be a very long list but think about it all.

Now as your thinking about it think about how you can improve those areas to make your diving experience better and safer. Not only yours but everyone around you.

Once you think about all the improvements that can be made put those new improvements into action.

Now here is the challenge.

I want everyone out there to try and put us out of business. Try as hard as you can to put every PSD Organization out of business.

The better you are in the water the more we are not needed.

What will the winners of this competition get you ask?

Your life! That is most likely the finest trophy anyone could ever display and brag about. There will be a lot of them to give out so don’t think you will be the only person getting one. I would like to see everyone get one so work hard at it.

Thanks,

Gary D.

I'll try. Just finished Ruscue Class test and scored 100%! Obviously, not nearly as trained as you guys, but maybe I can help avoid having to call.
So, if I don't need your services this year, you'll have to take us to dinner again. :eyebrow:

I choose NOT to accept your challenge. Only because I have no idea what a "PSD Origination" is, and why you want to put it out of business. I don't think I am a "PSD Origination". At least my mom never called me that.

........"Public Safety Diver"?

Just a guess.

I dunno. I couldn't put the Sheriff's team OOB when I ran the FD's dive rescue team... seems money for recovery was easier to come by than money for rescue. Oh well. I suppose I could try to start a civilian rapid response team but I fear turf protection would keep us from ever getting wet. Not only that but LEO teams get real picky about chain of evidence stuff too.

Seriously Gary, how often are PSD teams involved with rescue/recovery of divers as compared with all the other stuff like evidence retrieval and non-diver water related rescue/recoveries?

Okay, so I guess he meant "Public Safety Diver Organization", not "Origination"? Otherwise you might have to pay an origination fee.

Thanks for the post Gary-a nice reminder to take time to reflect... ;)
However...who's going to recover all that stolen stuff thrown in the water by those loser thieves? :eyebrow:

Sorry about the fubar but I just made a quick round trip to Seattle and I'm pooped.

It's about 3% but thats 3% to much.
