Did my 1st dive with my long hose setup, my question is thats alot of hose. Alot of it hangs, where do you put it so it does not hang around so much? In the belt of your webbing?
Chris

The belt of the webbing is a good start. Mine is rigged from the 1st stage, behind my right arm, down and accross my chest over my left shoulder and around my neck. The excess I tuck in my harness in the front. As the dive progresses, I can tweak it very easily.
hmmm.. now I am thinking. I *think* it may go behind my left shoulder. It's been too long since I last dived that now I am having second thoughts.

Mine either routes kust under my light canister and then up across the chest and around my neck.

It depends on your rig as to where you'll tuck it. You can tuck it in your waist band or around a canister light. I used to tuck mine under a weight belt too. It worked. The best though, is the can light option.

wrap the hose around your neck over and over again until tight. place the regulator in your mouth and bolt snap the end of the hose to your snorkel.

alternatively, you can route the hose downward from your firs stage on your right side and around a bellows pocket or canister light, tuck part of the hose into your webbing at your waist and then cross over your chest, around your head with the second stage in your mouth.

If you try the first way, please send a picture.:rofl3:

If wearing my canister light, it goes down behind my right arm, underneath my canister light and spare mask pocket, across my chest, around behind my neck. If I'm not wearing my canister light, it goes down behind my right arm, underneath my spare mask pocket, straight across and underneath my knife, straight up and then around behind my neck.

The belt of your webbing would be the most ideal place to tuck it, if you must, because it can be easily retrieved from here without getting hung up, should you ever need to give it to a buddy, very unlikely.

...

The front works, yes, as does the right side as well.

Mine goes off the right post down to the D-ring on my right hip, the reel on that hip ring holds it in place, but allows it to come free if pulled. Then up across to my left shoulder, around the neck and the reg in my mouth. Just make sure if you have a deco too it goes....deco, hose, reel on the D-ring
