Thanks, Jobar. Yeah, ts&m, I think he wanted to show me his good side. We had 6 guys taking pictures down there and he never backed totally into his hole. Must be a ham.

Here are a couple more from that day. This is about the tenth Siphonophore (salp chain?) we've seen in the last few weeks. They're all over Monterey right now.

This is a crappy picture, but it gives you an idea of scale. That's the anchor rope in the background that this thing was wrapped around. The chain was 19ft. and we were anchored in about 85 feet.
