Love the enthusiasm! might be time to update your dive stats in your profile. :-)

good for you....keep up the hard wet work..

Love it, and I totally agree!

Dives are dives, whether you were doing them as part of a course or not. You're there! Congratulations, and many more good dives in your future. :-)

OO you are doing great!
You are learning and improving every dive.
There is a learning curve and the only place you learn is in the water!
See you at the quarry!

Congrats!
I tell my students when we are doing Knowledge Review 5, the question about "when should you consider doing a scuba review?" that the biggest mistake they can make is to not get their butts out diving the VERY next day they have off from work after they are certified!
Dive, Dive, Dive! (Like they say on submarines!)
Keep diving, keep learning, keep practicing!

Experience wise and for post-OW courses I agree with you. But in terms of meeting requirements for certain cards and credentials I thought that only dives post certification counted. The 4 dives as part of OW and any discover scuba dives were not counted. Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

Why wouldn't you count dives done inside of courses? You do four OW dives as part of your course; why wouldn't you get credit for them?

If there are requirements for certain cards and credentials that exclude DSDs or OW training dives, then that would seem to be a policy requirement as opposed to a standard.

Do you have an example?

p.s. that's why the blue logbook has the OW dives marked "dive 1" and so on.
