I have an ikelite housing for a canon 5d. I seem to be having trouble disassembling the housing; the hot shoe seems to be catching on the housing and making removal of the camera difficult. anyone had this problem, or any suggestions?

Hi. Yup, I have that housing. Don't have that problem, although the fit is pretty tight between the top of the hot shoe and the inside of the housing - mine can push out the hotshoe when I put the camera into the housing.

Is your camera mounted fully onto the tray? Do all of the other buttons line up just right? If so, I'd say email Ike Service a picture of the problem. (This may sound dumb, but are you putting the hotshoe on the right way? the connector has a little arrow.)
