Did I miss this on Scuba Board? I didn't see anything about it. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2003/05/25/MN309974.DTL The basics of the article (but of course you should READ IT) is that the Aladin computers figure your surface interval as if you were breathing Nitrox on the surface, if your dive was using Nitrox. Since you would off-gas nitrogen faster if you actually did that, you can get bent following the advice of the computer! The article says more (and since it was in the newspaper, you know they didn't get the story right).


I figured my 50th post should be special, and this seemed worth the time to post.
