Is it normal for the clear protector over the logo on the 50D 1st stage to bubble out when pressurizing? We have 2 sets and both do it, but one bubbled out and popped, tearing the clear rubber disk, any hazards of not having it in place?

Thanks

These units were just serviced about 1 month ago.... Do they need to go back?

I talked with Jim Fox in your service department (before your response) , he asked that I send them to him to personally inspect the units, and to make sure the service was done correctly.

That's customer service! Thanks...

As Scott said, they should not blow out.

Take them back and be nice :D ... but here's what is going on:

When finished servicing the units, they should be pressurized, and then the environmental seals should be installed, then when turned off and purged the seals will suck back in. Therefore they will not blow out... unless they put the seals on without pressurizing the regulators first.

They reallty don't have to go back to Zeagle for this. It's very common and easily fixable.

To put things in perspective, if they were not environmentally sealed models there would be no issue at all.

Pressurized the 1st and reseated the clear seal, Repressurized and let it sit at pressure, and no bubble! Thanks for the trick.
