Five signs that your diving buddy is not as experienced as he says he is :

- He volunteers to carry your equipment.

- He does not understand why his dive computer does not run Windows.

- He thinks NITROX is a monster from GODZILLA.

- It is his mother who goes to have his tank filled.

- He says: " Me, I stay at the bottom until I feel pins and needles, and then I go up ".

hehehehe... nice

here are some more signs:

he/she points at your wrist computer and says "that's a big watch!"

he/she points at your long hose and says "wow! i've never seen a surface-supply rig before!"

he/she points at your black backup regulator and says "I can tell you're new at this. you didn't know you had to buy a yellow octopus"

when asked what their turn pressure is, they say "depth plus 33 feet, right?"

He pees in his wetsuit BEFORE he gets in the water?

apparently not.

He asks the DM :

" My PDC is set on water activation. Will it go on if it rains ? "

They are always quoting "Take only pictures and leave only bubbles"... ZIIINNNGGG!

---straps the BCD on over the tank MESH and then wonders why it is slipping off in the water--

No really, I've seen it!
