I found this gadget:
360observe.com | Diving
Does it make any sense?
Also, does the mirror disturb the marine life and perhaps attract sharks haha?
I mean what if I need to cover the mirror, is there a type with some kind of cover?

yes, it does.
same as $2 car mirror with a bit of double sided tape & Velcro strap:

I highly doubt so.

use another hand or push it against your body?

I actually just started diving with the 360. I replaced the band with bungie, but otherwise, dive it as delivered. I bought it because my kids are about to start diving and I wanted a little more piece of mind. I thought it might be a solution to a problem that didn't exist, but surprisingly, I've found it to be a great addition to my gear. It doesn't get in the way, no marine life issues.

Well I have lost my car mirror so I made a new one securing it with a bungee in addition to Velcro & double-sided tape:
