Physics 100% (without studying :rofl3:)
Supervising Certified Divers 85%
Supervising Student Divers 90%

risk area: physiology

Thinking of taking deco+environment+Equipment on one go
standards on another
and physiology last.
Suggestions?

BTW, worried about the 800mt/5min stamina swim :blinking:

I bombed the all the stamina swim stuff:depressed:

sorry it's 400mt in 5 mins

To get a 5 you need to swim the 400m in under 61/2 minutes. Over 13 minutes gets a 1

The mask,fins,snorkel is 800m in under 14m minutes for a 5. Over 21 minutes gets a 1

Yep,the 800m is the snorkel part.just a piece of cake :rofl3:
But my DM's have to do all the swimm tests in one session.:D

Just finished all my DM work. The application was sent in yesterday!
It was a long time, but well worth it. Definately one of the best experiences that I have had in diving.
The stamina tests have been discussed at length in another thread. My recommendation is to get ready by lap swimming to build up your endurance. For the 800yd, use snorkeling full foot fins. I tried a number of diving fins (including Sling Shots) and none worked as well as the Velocities that I ended up using.

I assume the full foot fins are best for the snorkel swim as the boots for scuba fins create enough drag for it to matter a lot?

Your a bad,bad man:mooner:

Just to add.:cool2:

They ALL have to do it in a 1 hour pool session.:rofl3:

Sofar all made it.

:mooner::mooner::mooner:b

As for the snorkel test we did it at sea; my instructor says it's 800mt but felt like double that, anyway we enjoyed it more than counting swimming pool tiles (BTW I used tusa xpert zoom splits for that).
:joke:300Bar; I feel lucky to have my lean instructor :D
