I pose a general quesion about a typical scuba 2nd stage reg. ---- How many CFM can the average 2nd stage reg deliver at the surface?:eyebrow:

The average unbalanced low end second stage can flow about 30 SCFM.

A high end balanced second stage can flow about 65-70 SCFM.

Poseiden second stages use a different upstream pilot valve design and in my experience some of them flow enough gas to remove your tonsils. I don't actually regard that as a good thing, as it is more than a diver can use anyway.
