2017 is only a bit more than a month young, and I have already dived in 4 provinces of the Philippines. In one (Bolinao, Pangasinan) I dived for research purposes, but in the other provinces I got some nice underwater shots:

Please enjoy a stingray from Subic Bay, Zambales,
A stick pipefish and mating cardinal fish form Dauin, Negros Oriental
and
A slug head from San Juan, Siquijor.

The silt the ray stirs up is still from the 1991 Mount Pinatubo eruption.

Note the convection eddies behind the pipefish - geothermal hot water rising from below the sand.
