Greetings everyone it was fantastic!
We visited Peacock;
1st dive up mainline past Pot Hole just 200 feet short of Olsen.
2nd dive mainline to Olsen and back.
3rd dive up the peanut tunnel to a total distance of 1700'
4th dive up peanut to cross over jump and out on the mainline.
5th was at Madison Blue which was incredible my first time there.
We made it to 1300' on the main line and turned on thirds +100.
6th dive was at Orange Grove in the middle of a down pour of rain.
We swam the main line past the mid-point to 700' marker for challenge sink.
7th dive we visited Little River and did the merry go round going right at the T.
Beautiful dive and the deco very light thus enjoyable.
My dive buddies Matt Wetzel , Joe Muncy, and I averaged 100' per 2 min. in the low flow and about 100 in 3 min. at Madison and Little River.
I did miss 2 dives in Peacock;
1st one up the peanut tunnel to the water hole jump then exit to water hole.
2nd dive from water hole to jump retrieve the reel and exit via peanut tunnel.
I was informed that it was beautiful and I would have loved it!
I was not feeling well so I chose not to dive both of these.
Over all it was a great trip Cave Expeditions Bill, Linda, and Karen went out of their way to provide excellent service and I am looking forward to our return in March if not sooner!
Tammy and Bix get there as soon as you can.
There is nothing like the real thing!
I am totally smitten with caves, ah back to normal frozen water, dry gloves and the evil snow thing! Makes Cave country seem a lot like heaven!
Will post details latter I have not slept yet our 14 hr drive was hindered by weather and accidents.
Ice and snow delays pushed the drive to 17.5 hrs.
I hope and pray all those involved were ok some looked very serious.
We incurred a 50 minute delay at Louisville KY south of the river, at least 12 vehicles were involved.
It was a very sobering trip home! I am thankful.
CamG Keep diving....Keep training....Keep learning!
