Not sure you can really call it SeaQuest any more.

I'd say that if you are interested in a Balance look around Florida for a used one from before they were bought by AL. I got mine at the Salvation Army in Lahaina and it is so different from today's model that it hardly seems they could use the same name. I know many people are leery of buying used but my last three BC purchases have been eBay, SA, eBay and I see no change in my future other than yard sales. They really don't make 'em like they used to!

like the balance im looking at its 2009? i believe so when teh 2010 comes out its going to be cheaper... so i think i might wanna wait because then it will be discounted (save money)

I have been diving for a few years now and for the most part the gear stays the same. I bought a black diamond 3 or 4 years ago and it is the same as the one you can buy now. The only thing I have seen change with the seaquest line is the addition of new gear, not so much change in older lines. And I've never seen them discounted.

So my advice is to buy now if you need the gear now.

well i cant dive now, if you have a weather thing (i have a mac so there is a widget for a 7 day forecast) check ft lauderdale its 40! outside or like 50 or something but yeah i mean ill get my stuff in prob 2 months but i need to re-read the book kinda forgot a little but i mean i remember everything just need to re-read like refresh my memory

I've got a Balance SQ that I use, back inflate so it's cool and I just bought one of the new ProQD BCD jacket style.

I prefer the QD, some folks say I'm moving backward but it just works well for me.

I like the newer QDs over the old style.

Talk to the folks at Deep Six in Vero, you can get a good deal there.
