I have an older Cressi big eye mask and like it. It is a clear silicone model. It's getting tired and I'm going to keep it for a back up. I'm seriously considering buying the new 2009 Cressi big eye evolution mask in black silicone. The new 2009 evolution model is not yet available in Canada so I'll have to get it somewhere else. Does anyone out there have and use the new evolution model? If so I would like to know if you have a clear or black silicone model and if you like the mask. Does it seal well, comfort, weight etc.
Also, if you know of a Canadian outfit that's selling them I'd love to know. Failing that, can anyone reccomend a reputable online scuba gear dealer that I can trust.

Thanks

I also have a older Cressi, and love it...hope someone has one and will provide a review... very nice looking mask...

I know Leasurepro has them....and I believe they are an authorized dealer for them (what a rarity).

I actually just sold one of these masks two days ago. We have one left in our shop for purchase.

This mask fits like a dream. I have not dove with it, but it feels very comfortable. The diver that bought its said he loves it.

I recommend getting one. I hear it is very popular and you don't want to miss out.

Good luck

awesome mask...fits like the original but makes a smoother seal. it has a harder insert on the inner lips that makes a tight seal on your face. the outer skirt is softer to seal any oddities (?) or miss-shaped areas on your face (unless, of course, your face is perfectly shaped).

anyways, the mask rocks...the next step in mask technology!

:D
