Question #1:

Has anyone used the Evos wetsuits from DiverDirect.com? Goods and Bads?

Question #2:
Are the Titanium suits really any warmer?

I'm contemplating a 3 mil suit for use in a quarry in May down in AL which will be a shallow (not below 60 ft) and also for my cruise trip to the Carribean later in May. I doubt the depth there will go below 40 feet just from my understanding about the typical scuba/cruise excursions.

Hi there,
I don't know the particular brand that you are speaking of, but a titanium suit is one of the biggest gimmicks in the diving industry. SUPPOSEDLY, the titanium should reflect your body heat back to you. What it does do is cost you more money. If the suit fits you well and you are getting a good price, then get it, but don't get it because of the claim that the titanium is going to increase your warmth.

Good luck to you. Let us know what you get.

The Evo Suits are the new name and new design for the COMP brand that is manufactured specifically for DiverDirect.com

Thanks for the truth about the Ti suits. I kind of wondered about that. I guess the Gold ones are no different.
