A fellow I know is getting out of kayaking and has both he and his wive's Pygmy Cohos for sale. We went out 5/2/09 for a morning trip (photos below) and they let my try one - these are VERY nice kayaks. Both include sprayskirts and have the optional bulkheads and hatches.

They are also very light at 39.5 lbs each. Length is 17'6" and beam is 23". Here is a
link to the Coho page at Pygmy Boats:
Pygmy's Coho

He is asking $1200 for each - if anyone is interested let me know and I'll get you in touch with him.

Good looking kayaks! I am in process of finishing my second pygmy kayak. My first was Coho, and it is a dream in the water! With the hatches and rigging, this guy is basically selling them for parts plus $250 labor. You can not put a price on the labor for one of these kayaks. If anyone buys one, remember that a light sanding and a coat of varnish results in a new looking kayak.

Nice looking yak, but-------------I would think no good for diving off???......Help me out, right or wrong??......

You guys realize this was posted four years ago, right?
