Just back from a trip to Morehead City, NC, where we dove on the Atlantis IV. The area is known for ship wrecks and the big sand tiger sharks and lionfish (!) that live on them. Here are photos of each:

Please provide info your digital camera.

Thank You.

Sorry, I'm one of the divers that time forgot. The equipment was a lowly Nik V, Sea&Sea 15mm with a single Ike 200 strobe and Provia F 100 speed film. Exposure for the shark (which was above the wreck in clean water with a bright surface) was f8, shutter 1/90th, strobe on an arm at 1/2 power, distance from subject 3 apparent feet. The exposure on the lionfish, which was deep on the wreck near the sand, was f8, shutter 1/30th, strobe hand-held at 1/8 power, distance from subject 1 apparent foot.

I had a housed Nikon N90s with dual strobes on the boat, but conditions were rough, bottom time was short, and I decided to dive with the light and simple little Nikonos rig to minimize my fiddling time and to maximize my photo time. -Clay
