My former spouse has four tanks in good condition, out of hydro, for sale. Currently the tanks are in Jupiter, but they could be delivered to Dania Beach.
Two yellow AL100's, Luxfer, used four times (maybe less!), out of hydro, manufactured April 1998. We got them directly from Luxfer when his older tanks were recalled. Although I have not seen them in the approx. 5 years since we divorced, knowing him they look pretty perfect.
Two white AL80's, I don't know the manufacturer but they were NOT part of the recall. I believe they belonged to his former spouse who quit diving right after being certified. Manufacturered October 1994 and out of hydro. I used to use these tanks sometimes myself, and last I saw them they were in very good shape although scratched a bit from use. In better shape than my own tanks for sure!
He retired young, could use the cash, will never dive again and would like them out of his garage. The price will be right, make an offer. Let's just say that AL80s retail for about $140 and AL100s for about $250, deduct for age and needing a hydro, so make a reasonable offer if you're interested.
I'm thinking of keeping the AL80's for myself but I know what I want to offer him. if your offer is higher, you can have them.
I'm hoping that some of the heavy breathing beach divers will buy the 100's. You know who you are.
