I have a 1st generation petrel whereas my wife has the second generation. I got to looking and noticed that the 1st has a single hole leading to pressure sensor whereas the 2nd generation has two holes.

Thinking about it the size of the hole and being just one I can see the possibility of issues with water and or air being trapped. Seems like a second hole could be retro drilled into the body.

As such, I would like to gain some insight on the change.
