Telford
New
Going shopping for a new w/suit for this trip. I was thinking of a shorty but others are suggesting full. Any suggestions?

Was just down there and wore an older BARE 2mm full. Was fine. BARE makes a 1mm full with an optional 3mm layering vest. I used the vest in the Blue Hole and was toasty. Any of the T.O. shops should carry it or you can order it online from the BARE site in Vancouver.
There were a lot of jellyfish on the dive sites East and South of Turneffe, so a full suit was a good choice.
... I'd wear at least a 3.5 full with a 2mm vest and hood. ....
According to his info, Telford is Canadian . If he got caught diving with 5.5 mm and a hood in 79F water we'd mug him for his Canadian Tire money and force him to fetch Tim Horton coffees.
I sure wish I was at Turneffe today. -20C outside.
