1st timer underwater pics

Here are a few of the photos taken on my trip to Bonaire in February. This was my first ever attempt at underwater photography. Camera used was an Olympus 2040 in an Olympus PT-010 housing. No external strobe was used.

All the pictures are taken without an external strobe. I just used the flash that is on the camera. The picture of the grouper was taken at a depth of about 35-40 feet.

I misread your original post (thought you said no supplemental light. You didn't -- you said no external strobe. Pix obviously benefit from your skill -- and the built in strobe!

Thanks for the offer. We already have Memorial Day plans, though. Also, my wife and I are not into lake diving. We prefer warm clear waters with a reef to look at.

Great pictures! You mentioned you did not use any supplement light (except the one built into the camera) but did you use any sort of filter?
