1st stage question

I'm starting my open water class in March and have been researching the different equipment manufacturers. I've found myself learning towards a Zeagle regulator when the time comes to buy one.

I'm still learning...so can someone tell me what the hydro transmitter is on the Flathead, 50D, and DSV 1st stage?

In a nutshell, it is the device that transmits ambient pressure to the high pressure diaphragm, on our dry sealed regulators.
