I am setting up my first pony bottle which I am mounting upside-down on my primary tank and have what is probably a dumb question; should I also mount my 1st stage upside-down on the bottle (when the bottle is standing right side up) so that when the pony bottle is mounted the 1st stage is right side up?

Mount the reg so that you have the cleanest hose routing.
