It is with both sadness and joy that I retired my OLD SeaTec Manta BC this month. I have replaced it with an Omega Evolution and boy have BCDs changed. My old SeaTec fit me well when I was 200+ lbs, but now that I am 155 it is just a little big. The new Evolution is a great BCD very adjustable and comfortable. One of the main reasons for picking this BCD was the 1 size fits all. It fits both my wife and I and our kids. I plan to get one more of these so that it won’t matter weather it is my wife or one of my sons going diving with me as it is very rare that I can get all of them in the same town at the same time. If you are looking or a new BC give this one a look.

May it rest in peace. I've had 2 SeaTec BCs and was quite happy with both of them. The first one was a horsecollar and the second one the first single bag jacket BC they came out with. I used it for many years.

Geeze, the SeaTec was barely broken in!!!
I've got some 35 year old wings from them that are on my AGA twins, they're still hanging in there just fine.
I see that they're still being made yet but the prices seemed to be geared towards the "government buyers".
