my son and i completed our padi aow course last year,but due to his age(14 yrs)was not allowed below 21 metres for his deep dive.i have it in my head from somewhere that once he's 15 he will no longer be constrained to 21 metres. am i correct or is it 16 years old????????? :06:
 
PADI Advanced OW is from 15 years old. Presumably what he now has is Junior AOW.

There is no law limiting him to any depth. Due to the limited training it is best if you stay shallow for a while and that is for everyone. But there is some extra cautions with the young ones because they are not developed yet.

Not to worry. If you go to 21.1 or 50 meters the SCUBA police will not throw you in the klink.
