ej--PLEASE stay outta the pool, you are taking all the good pics! Won't even try to pick a favorite. The close-up work is really looking good, the patience shows--as does good technique. Looks like you have gotten the exposures down too. Ratz, now I may have to add that 2d flash after all. Well, and dive Tulamben. And get lucky. And be patient. And...all the rest that goes with good photography. Way to go. // ww

ej--Following up, how do you like the YS110-A & 27DX strobe combination? I like the
110-A I bought and know I "should" have a 2d flash but since I don't feature doing a lot of WA shooting (shooting mostly macro) I'm thinking I could save a bit and go with the 27DX. Has that combo been working out? Judging from the pics it has--if that is what you are currently using! // ww

Warmwater Wank, I think for WA shot, better go with 110a x 2.
27DX is very nice for macro job but not strong & wide as 110a.
For macro job, mostly I also use only one strobe. HTH.

Thanx ej--not that my significant dive buddy/buget manager wants to hear that sort of talk. On the other hand, you are doing swell uisng only one strobe for macro. She won't have a problem with that part! // ww
