Also, all the tanks are out of hydro. I think the (A?)'s are delta symbols.

Perhaps the one piece of missing info that I'd like to see if I were to buy these tanks (I'm non-local, so I can't) is the manufacture month-year, and the manufacturer of the tank marked `230 BAR`

Where is the mgfr date? Unless it's the 09(A?) 11 but (September 2011 seems about right, since I got my dry suit in August 2011 and California diving is miserable without one).

The manufacture date is 09-11 or September 2011 on both! Like you said, about 10 years old. I couldn't tell which markings were on which tanks. Anyway, that should be plenty enough info for a potential buyer.

For the steel 100's, they were sold by XS Scuba, but the manufacturer code (M8004) is for Worthington Cylinders of Canada. The A-like symbol in the date code is the inspection agency's symbol, in this case Arrowhead Industrial Services. Lot's of experts around here to correct me if I'm wrong though. Nice quality steel cylinders I think.

I don't know the significance, but the DOT entry for these tanks says their status is "Approval Terminated". Status entries for other tanks are "Inactive", "Expired", "Good Standing", "Pending", etc., so I don't know what to make of this.

[Edit edit: my OCD tendency is showing. Approvals were terminated in 2018 as a matter of course for all the older authorizations that were originally issued without expiry date, as DOT moved to a system of 5-year approvals.]

@TooCold worthington pulled out of the scuba business, hence why they would be no longer active on the manufacturer listing. they are still making industrial cylinders and are renewing the special permit SP14157

it is current until halloween this year and will likely be renewed a week or two before then
