Hi there, Can you recommend anyone in Rocport/gananoque/brockville/mallorytown to dive with. Two of us will be going and driving in from Toronto. What dive sites do you recommend..(we are both advanced divers that have passed the inwater portion / exam portion of the rescue course. Can we get away with just a 7mm / hoodie / 5 mm gloves and boots?
Whats the average cost to rent tanks / weights / weightbelt using Nitrox? We have all the other equipment..

I find it nice for small groups to dive with other groups. It expands your knowledge and you meet new divers. The water temperatures in the river vary with the time of year so thermal protection varies. A 7mm suit is more than adequate most times. Dress warmly between dives. There are dive shops in the area that provide rentals etc. or bring the gear with you. Nitrox is available here too. There are many great sites to dive here but call ahead as you may need to provide passport info if the sites are in US waters. We will advise.
