10 Things you couldn't/didn't this time last year!?

Howdy All,

I was in the shower over the weekend (I shower everyday btw!) anyway I dropped the shampoo and went to pick it up, it made me realise just how much flexible I am since a year ago - this time last year - I couldn't touch my toes!

So it got me thinking, what else can I do and what else have I changed?

His is my 10 Things I do now, that I didn't/couldn't do this time last year:

1. Touch my Toes!
2. Do 20+ Push Ups
3. Have no sugar/salt in my food/coffee/tea (as in I don't have table salt/sugar)
4. Eat Salad/Vegetables - and enjoy them!
5. Drink lots of FRESH Fruit juice
6. Eat Heathly Breakfast / Eat Regularly
7. Do regular exercise - and keep it up!
8. Don't pick the most expensive/biggest thing on the menu when eating out
(I now look for the cheapest/healthest thing on the menu!)
9. Don't drink Soda/Coke
10. And most importantly - Enjoying myself more!

So come on guys - what 10 things do you do now, that you didn't/couldn't do this time last year?

His is my 10 Things I do now, that I didn't/couldn't do this time last year:

1. wear smaller sized clothing
2. give up the fizzy softdrinks
3. walk 500mtrs up the road without being out of breath
4. not look at a menu and choose the fattiest meal
5. eat healthy breakfast each day
6. scuba diving every weekend... i took myself out of the water at some point
7. fit into my wetsuit :multi:
8. do regular exercise
9. eat organic fruit and veggies - you can taste the difference
10. and feeling much much happier about myself and my life!

I forgot about wearing smaller clothes! LOL - thinking about it, we could go to '20 things' I reckon....

Its incredible! Well done!
 
Excellent thread and great lists so far. I can't go back a year, but I can go back to the end of February when my life went fubar:

I can:

1. Fit into my January jeans that I couldn't fit into in June.
2. Walk with my dog and/or friends at least five times/week.
3. Walk everywhere instead of taking the car.
4. Not drink Coke all the time (actually haven't had one since end of June).
5. Not drink multiple beers most nights/week.
6. Eat lots and lots of fresh fruit & veg and drinking heaps of water.
7. Choose not to exist on Doritos and other rubbish.
8. Wake up each day and mostly not want to curl into a dark corner and sob.
9. Smile and mean it.
10. Look forward to tomorrow.
 
Sorry I've got to add one! Made me laugh out loud at work:

11. I can see my toes, while looking down at my feet!
 
Since I lost all my fat and now struggling to stablize myself, here are the things I can do now:

1. Scuba diving

And my list is pretty much the same as Rich!

We should all have a get together dive somewhere in the middle of nowhere :D
