scubapro spectra skirt

Scubapro Spectra appears to have a weak point where the strap attaches to the mask skirt. Basically the attachment point is small and the silicone stretches there and eventually gets fatigue cracks and snaps (see attached image). Has anyone made any successful repairs to these? Are spare skirts...
