kauai koloa unguided

I’ll be in Kauai mid October. I’m planning on doing a couple of unguided of shore dives at Koloa Landing followed by a couple of days of boat dives. I haven’t found too much info on diving Koloa unguided. Wondering if anyone has any advice, maps, etc. I do lots of unguided diving in California...
