I am looking for a lightweight travel bcd, this will be my first bcd purchase. I was wondering if anyone can give me an honest review of the BC. Main thing I am looking for is one with weight integrated systems.
I’m looking to invest in my very first BCD, looking mainly for back-inflate that is light and compact as I travel a lot. The Scubapro navigator Lite recently caught my eye, though a little pricey. Would like to know the opinions of divers that have used it.
Would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum (and only about 70 dives in), and I’m trying to put together a backplate and wing system on a tight budget. I’ve found a few components from different brands, and I want to confirm their compatibility before ordering everything. Here’s what I’m looking at...
We just discovered that after about 1,000 hours underwater, the seams at the bottom of my wife’s jacket are giving up. The stitching has held but the material is coming apart. These seams are not typical stress points, so I am also a bit puzzled as to why, but that is a different question. I...
The seams around the weight pockets on my wife's Commando jacket are coming apart (new model bought in 2009). I know you can remove the blather, but I have not been able to find instructions on how to do this properly. Does anyone know where I can find instructions? Does anyone have any? Or any...
Hi everyone,
I am shopping for a new BCD and starting to lean toward a BPW setup. I've read everywhere that using a twinset wing for a single-cylinder setup is a bad idea because the volume is too large, which can cause "tacoing" and other issues.
However, many back-inflate jacket-style BCDs...
Hi there!
I am about to buy my first wing (having tried them before) and I've got two really good offers on these 2 second hand, which is good enough for my first own wing.
I've read some good reviews on both, but I couldn't find a comparisson, so I am a bit confused as to which one would be...
Is anyone using the Hydros mini D-ring plate with bungees to hold their SMB?
I know a lot of people clip to a lower D-ring, but was curious if anyone had success with this set up?

After years of staring at screens and fixing system errors, I've decided to trade my ergonomic chair for a wetsuit and my corporate meetings for underwater briefings. Yes, folks – this software engineer is taking the plunge (literally) into the world of professional diving!
Now, I need your...
Hi there
I'm fairly new to scuba diving, I just passed my Ocean Diver qualification two days ago, and I already started gathering some clutter important pieces of equipment.
I bought a Scubapro Glide 1000 BCD for very cheap cheap, and it's in a brand new condition apart from the power inflator...
I know there are hundreds of these threads, but I’m never going to be able to make a decision without some help.
I’m looking to switch from my Aqualung Axiom to a BP&W. I’ve lost a bunch of weight and so it’s a little big, plus mainly I’m tired of how bulky and heavy it is for the purpose of...
My wife and I are going to Egypt with David Haas and Seasick Productions early next summer. We will be touring Egypt for a week and then going to Hurghada for a liveaboard. We were thinking we should get more travel friendly gear so we purchased travel bcds and Scubapro Go Sport fins. My wife...

Used in 10 saltwater dives, and in excellent condition. Well-maintained, bladder and LPI rinsed out after every dive. Absolutely loved diving with it and only letting it go since I decided pretty...
