Had meeting last night with the group going from the LDS. I really, really, really can't wait to be in Coz. Oh and another snow storm on the way tonight is also helping.
I like the Scubapro UWATEC Tec 2G. Simple, but can do multi gas. Doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles but has what you need and not a lot of what you don't and it's about $400.
I have yet to find one of those that works for a 64-bit OS. Anyone know if there is anything like that out yet? And to really throw a curve, I generally run Apple products, so anyone know of one of those that works on either iOS or OS X?
Especially where some health policies exclude things like DCS from diving. Yes, get it. For $100 or whatever it cost, it's cheap and just look at how much an evacuation and chamber treatment is.

Yes, this is hardly confined, the lake is quite large and almost 300 feet deep.

The camp is on the far shore on the right of this photo.
I don't know about conditions that particular day, but when I dove at Bear Lake two weeks ago, at a site a couple of miles north of the Boy Scout camp, water temp was 65 at the surface with an abrupt thermocline at about 15 feet, where it dropped about 10 degrees and then progressively got...
I dive Bear Lake fairly often and was just wondering if anyone had any further details? There is a pretty dramatic thermocline there at about 15 feet, and the temperature drops like 10 degrees, was this a factor in why the scoutmaster and instructor surfaced? Also, I'm assuming this was a...
