You know what I was getting at with my statement. I know I am responsible for my own safety, but if you do have a DM that is reckless, he or she can cause issues for the whole group and make the experience unenjoyable.

I am sorry but I disagree with that assesment. Timed dives vs dive your tank dives, good safety minded DMs vs cowboys, AL80 vs 100s vs steel tanks, beach or boat surface intervals, dive locations. Their are many differences between ops besides the boat.

I just dove with Aldora a few weeks ago again, there is no observable changes in the diving. My dive times were still 80 to 90 minutes. I have been going with them at least twice a year since Blue Xt Sea closed.
