I thought for a second maybe he was handing out a PADI "Scuba Diver" certification but even that requires 2 OW dives... Somebody is REALLY violating standards... Big Ditto on reporting him.

I think we'll be heading down there Sunday to check it out. I'm guessing the two main reasons people didn't switch from Blue Springs to Falling Rock were that BS has/had a compressor and was open 24/7. We only have two tanks so a site without a compressor doesn't allow us to get as much...

The area of HP that had flooded when we were there was called the lilypad I believe. It was an area right down next to the river, so when the river overflowed it's banks it went right in there. When we took a look at the quarry at HP at the time it didn't look like it was getting any flow...

I've got miflex hoses on the Proton Metal second stages that my wife and I are using for backups and had no trouble at all installing them. Nothing non-standard on either end... :)

Now that BSQ looks like it will be down for a while, anyone have any suggestions for dive sites within an hour of Cincinnati? Preferably with at least 20' of water... :)

Thanks for mentioning removing the front pockets... I never noticed that was an option. From what I've read, you should be able to removed the bladder and use with with a BP/W setup if you feel so led... :) Admittedly it might be a bit small for doubles...

Heh.. When we were down there around 10am it was still pretty warm and the only thing that looked worrisome was the thunder and lightning. The storm system was actually not that large on the radar and was predicted to be moving east at about 35 mph. Instead of moving, it hovered... and...
