I meet up with people from my local dive club when my husband can't go out with me. The dives are usually held at public beaches with lots of people around. I feel pretty safe, although it's a little weird to be the only woman diving with a bunch of guys I don't know particularly well.

It looks like the boots were originally glued on. But all of the seams are sewn and reinforced with dry adhesive tape.

In your opinion, what would be the best way to fix it? Or do you think that the suit cannot be salvaged at this point?

He did use Aquaseal on it. It is a shell suit. From what I gather, he destroyed it, then?

Thanks for the info. I was really skeptical about using Aquaseal for this particular application -- I didn't think it would hold up. Glad I didn't go diving in it this morning.
