Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

Thirsty Cougar was on our list, but we figured it'd be hard to focus on the game with the parade right there! Lol

Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

We watched it at Casa Cuzamil, and $60 bought us each unlimited food and beverages. They had a great selection on the food menu! It was also the only place we could've picked where we were outnumbered by 49er fans! But that made it more fun, because after all their smack talk during the game...

Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

Thanks! That's how we found out ahead of time that No Name was already booked up. We'll be there several days before the game, and plan to scout around on day 1, after the morning dives of course. Lol

Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

Good to hear it Gordon! Still doing the Cancun bag drag? I haven't been on the board in a bit. We're headed down for my son to get his Advanced cert. I was there a few months ago for my Nephew to get his Advanced.

Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

Thanks for the advice, but I"m driving. We're staying far from walking distance to town, and we'll have a car. I've been going to Cozumel frequently for 25 years. I know how to get around, and find parking at least within a few blocks of wherever we end up. I'm really just asking for opinions on...

Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

I'm still looking for suggestions if No Name is full up. We definitely don't want to be driving all over during the game, hoping to find a good spot. Plus we're coordinating with some other people from KC to maybe all watch together.

Question Where to watch the Superbowl?

The only reason the Lions won by a point on opening day is because Tony dropped four passes. One a deflection for a score. He actually cost the Chiefs three wins this year. He's a bench warmer now. But I'm rooting for the Lions right now! It's awesome that they look likely to make their first...

    AOW necessary?

Like I said, our LDS throws Peak in for free as part of the regular OW package. It not only turns out better new divers, it also gets one specialty out of the way towards AOW. Which when you think about it, might also be a marketing ploy to entice them to pay more later to finish the AOW, so...

    Cozumel "bucket List" ...

A large hammerhead came in close to take a look at us off of Maracaibo Wall in July of 2009. Besides that rare find, I've only seen one black tip and tons of Nurse sharks in Cozumel, so pretty much any other kind of shark would be welcome. :)

    AOW necessary?

Just like anything else, experience and watching what others with more experience do will teach you more than you'll learn in a short course. Most of our AOW students however, were newer divers with few dives under their belts. AOW is a good and useful class for newer divers. At the very least...
