Hi John How is the Amed diving going? I usually stay in Padangbai but will be going up to Amed on my next trip. I expect it's similar diving. Can you let me know where you stayed and who you dived with if they are any good please. Cheers Mark

Hi just saw your other post. The answer is not much! There are 2 beaches at either end of the town, white beach and blue lagoon. You can hire a bed and there is food and drink available from the warungs. The snorkelling is ok. I usually go in November so PDB is very quiet. In mola season it is...

Hi all I will be in Bali at the beginning of October for a couple of weeks. Thinking of going back to Padangbai and then spending a few days in Tulamben as I’ve only dived the wreck once before. Lembongan also a possibility. Is anybody going to be around then? Might be nice to meet up etc...

can anyone tell me about how the wreck diving compares between Subic and Coron? Reports of poor vis put me off Subic in the past but I found the vis wasn’t great in Coron when I dived there a while ago. Also how does the nightlife compare? Thanks

I was surprised as well - usually the easy to get to places ain’t what they used to be. Last time I was there I dived Tepekong and it was no better than the local PB sites. If you factor in Lembongan then you are not far behind Komodo.
