I'm not sure there is anything to explain, PADI probably just changed card designs between a couple of your classes. As long as you the cards to present to shops and charters that request them, you should be fine.

I'm not surprised, but I would like to see the data on how long they have been diving as well. Twenty dives for a person certified 3 months ago is different from 20 dives for a person certified 3 years ago.

Head to Islamaroda (just south of Key Largo) and dive with Conch Republic Divers. They have an online calendar which shows the planned sites for each of their boats each day. You can research the sites and choose what you prefer.

Please don't do that on a reef... I think better advice is to have the training, equipment, experience, comfort, and buddy skills necessary to never need to go straight to the surface. Yeah, technically recreational diving is no-stop, where you can head straight to the surface if needed...

I just looked in my closets and I don't think I have a shelf large enough to place a BC on without having to worry about it falling down all the time... If space is an issue (you don't have room in a closet to keep gear hanging because unnecessary things like clothing are taking up the space)...

I'd be more concerned about the box holding up in the elements than the tanks...
